The first-ever Punjabi Language Day is being observed on March 29, 2024, by the Punjabi Language Movement.

175 years (29 March 1849 to 29 March 1924)of state-sponsored linguistic and cultural cleansing, exploitation, and slavery of Punjabi-speaking people must end now.

The Punjab government must legislate to enact the Punjabi Language Charter and accept  Punjab’s 25-point demands.

Punjabi intellectuals, writers, and activists unanimously adopt the Punjabi Language Charter and the 25-point demands being presented by the Punjabi Language Movement.
